The budget for the upcoming fiscal year has been published by the Madhesh province administration at Rs46.88 billion, which is an increase of 39% from the budget for the current fiscal year. The majority of the provincial budget is dedicated to promote social and gender equality.

According to Madhesh Province's Shailendra Prasad Sah, Rs 25.82 billion has been put aside for capital expenses and Rs 21.73 billion for current expenses.

According to Sah, the budget has set aside Rs2.74 billion for the agricultural industry as well as Rs178.4 million for farm mechanization and modernization.

The province government has allotted Rs4.84 billion for the ministries of Industry, Tourism, and Forestry. The "livelihood" initiative, which has been established by the province administration of Madhesh, would give direct monetary assistance to the underprivileged and those with no other means of support. According to Sah, this program has been allotted Rs1.5 billion.

The government has declared that it will deposit Rs 2,000 into the bank accounts of marginalized and educationally disadvantaged communities, such as Chamar, Dom, Dusadh, Halkhor, and Musahar, every year as part of the Dalit education program.

Madhesh Province has set up Rs7.80 billion for social development initiatives. The development of physical infrastructure has been allocated the largest sum of Rs18.08 billion.
