A new anime called Bikkuri-men, which draws its inspiration from the stickers that came with Lotte's Bikkuriman snacks, has been revealed to the public. A teaser trailer for the anime has also been released, along with news that it will be released in the fall of 2023.
Shin-Ei Animation is producing an upcoming anime, which will be directed by Tomohiro Tsukimisato, known for his work on Ueno-san wa Bukiyou, with Yuniko Ayana, who has worked on BanG Dream! and Given, serving as the series composer. Ayano Oowada, who also worked on Ueno-san wa Bukiyou, will take on the role of character designer.
The upcoming anime Bikkuri-men will introduce a fresh storyline that follows the reincarnation of Prince Yamato and Saint Phoenix in modern times. The anime will also feature new character designs created by Hiroyuki Takei, who is well-known for his work on Shaman King.
Bikkuri-men is part of a larger franchise that includes several previous anime adaptations, such as Bikkuriman, Shin Bikkuriman, Super Bikkuriman, Bikkuriman 2000, and Happy Lucky Bikkuriman. The original Bikkuriman anime was first broadcasted in the late 1980s, while the Happy Lucky Bikkuriman aired from 2006 to 2007.
